Over the last eight decades, M.J. Kellner has evolved into a successful multi-dimensional full-line foodservice distributorship and continues to experience growth under the leadership of William (Bill) Kellner, the third generation owner.  He is preceded by his father, H.J. (Hack) Kellner and grandfather, Maurice J. Kellner, the founder of the company.

We are committed to providing our customers with excellent service, top quality products and competitive pricing.  To assure we accomplish our goals, we partner with suppliers that are known and trusted throughout the industry and employ a sales force that come from the foodservice industry and bring with them an extensive wealth of knowledge.

Using this knowledge and experience we serve our foodservice community with a fresh, unique approach.  We know what it takes for a family-owned business to not just survive but to thrive in an extremely competitive world.  Our focus is on the quality and service they depend on to keep their business running successfully.  We want to make a difference – not just on the invoice but in the life of the business they nurture every day.

As the only local family-owned foodservice distributor in the Springfield area, we are focused on expanding to meet the needs of our customers.  Our service area begins in Springfield and radiates out more than 100 miles in every direction.

M.J. Kellner’s roots lie in its separate Contract Division.  This division of M.J. Kellner has been extremely successful and is known as one of the leading foodservice suppliers in the country.  The Contract Division focuses its specialty on providing foodservice goods and services to prison, mental health and veteran’s facilities on a contract basis in 10 different states.

We are very proud of the success of both divisions.
