Leftover Biscuit French Toast


  • 4 leftover biscuits
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoon butter

How to Prepare:

  1. In a casserole dish, add the 5 eggs, egg yolks, heavy cream, vanilla and cinnamon.  Stir well.  Cut the leftover biscuits in half and place in the dish.  Let sit 5-10 minutes.  Flip the biscuits and let them sit again.  The older the biscuit the longer it will need to sit.
  2. In a skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and let melt.  Add the biscuits and let them brown, maybe 3 minutes on each side.  Serve with real maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar.
